If war is the last step, voting is the first!
To vote means that you recognize the legitimacy of the state and its right to control your life.
To vote means that you sanctify the state’s right to make war in your “defense” and in your name. To kill, maim, terrorize and torture people (yourself included), in secret and conventional wars.
If voting is the first act of giving your life to the control of the state, to do with as they please, when they please, then doesn’t it make sense that refusing to vote is the first step in taking it back?
A free world is a world free of all governments.
